Job Title: Head of Supply Chain
Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end supply‑chain operations for a pharmaceutical start‑up, ensuring efficient forecasting, procurement, inventory, logistics, and distribution while maintaining regulatory compliance and cost efficiency.
Expactations: Deliver scalable supply‑chain solutions, manage budgets and KPIs, build and grow a high‑performing team, sustain continuous improvement, mitigate risks, and support market expansions and product launches in a fast‑paced, regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities: • Own end‑to‑end supply‑chain functions: forecasting, planning, procurement, inventory, logistics, and distribution. • Lead, mentor, and develop supply‑chain staff. • Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet demand and cash‑flow objectives. • Cultivate supplier relationships to secure cost, quality, and reliability. • Coordinate 3PL and logistics partners for on‑time, in‑full delivery. • Collaborate with Quality, Pharmacy, and cross‑functional teams on regulatory compliance and product launches. • Identify and mitigate risks across raw materials, packaging, and logistics. • Champion data‑driven continuous improvement and innovation. • Manage supply‑chain budget, forecasting, and KPIs.
Required Skills: • Proven supply‑chain leadership in fast‑growth or start‑up settings. • Expertise in demand forecasting, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supply‑chain systems. • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, advanced Excel (SQL bonus). • At least 4 years of people‑management experience. • Commercial acumen and cost‑conscious decision making. • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional collaboration. • Proactive, solution‑oriented approach; comfortable with ambiguity. • Experience in regulated industries (pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food).
Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field (preferred). • Professional certifications such as APICS CSCP, ASCM CLP, or equivalent (desirable).
