Job title: AI Tech Programme Manager
Role Summary: Lead and align a high‑impact AI technology programme on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Collaborate with product, data, and engineering stakeholders to design, build, and deploy AI solutions that meet regulatory, cybersecurity, and ethical standards, while driving strategic decisions and unlocking organisational value.

Key Responsibilities: • Partner with AI Group Product Lead and AI Tech Lead to define vision, roadmap, and governance. • Own programme agenda, ensuring clarity and momentum across all initiatives. • Coordinate cross‑functional delivery among product, data, and engineering teams to design, build, and deploy AI solutions efficiently. • Act as a connector between technology and wider business, keeping stakeholders informed and aligned. • Champion responsible, ethical AI, ensuring compliance with regulatory, cybersecurity, and data governance standards. • Build and maintain relationships with vendors and partners, facilitating seamless integration with internal platforms. • Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions to gather insights, align priorities, and stimulate innovation. • Support a lean, experimental approach to quickly test new ideas and unlock value.
Required Skills: • Proven experience in complex change delivery (project, programme, or delivery management). • Ability to define roadmaps that align with strategic objectives and OKRs. • Strong product management understanding and agile working experience (planning, execution). • Knowledge of AI governance, risk, compliance, ethical AI principles, and secure data handling. • Excellent communication, influencing, and senior‑level presentation skills. • Strong organisational, problem‑solving, and analytical abilities. • Resilience and adaptability in fast‑paced, agile environments. • Cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder management. • Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, approachable manner.
Required Education & Certifications: • Degree‑qualified (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. • Agile certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master) desirable.
