Overview:

Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Information Security Engineer to support one of our top banking clients. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in safeguarding enterprise systems by designing, implementing, and maintaining security infrastructure and policies. You'll work with cutting-edge platforms such as Web Application Firewalls (WAF), bot mitigation tools, API gateways, CDNs, TLS certificates, and more, while collaborating closely with application teams to drive secure, compliant integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in the planning, design, installation, and maintenance of security systems to enforce organizational security policies.
Create and maintain configurations for security platforms including Web Application Firewalls (WAF), bot mitigation tools, API gateways, TLS certificates, proxy systems, logging tools, and other security devices.
Monitor and analyze network traffic patterns to detect malicious activity or misconfigured applications; create and implement custom mitigations as needed.
Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to securely integrate services such as CDN, WAF, bot mitigation, ALB, TLS certificate management, and caching solutions--ensuring alignment with security best practices and compliance standards.
Generate and review reports on anomalous events, incidents, and system behavior.
Promote awareness of security policies and assist in developing related procedures and documentation.
Define security requirements and assess systems to ensure compliance with established security standards.
Analyze business needs and recommend appropriate security solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field--or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience in delivering information security infrastructure support and services.
Demonstrated expertise in computer security, including risk analysis, audit practices, and compliance objectives.
Strong background in networking, software, and hardware security practices.
Experience with identifying and addressing web vulnerabilities.
Preferred: CISSP certification or willingness to pursue.
