Job Specifications

Mokshaa LLC is currently looking for a SRE DevOps with strong Python coding for automation with one of our clients in United States.

Role: Infrastructure Engineer - SRE DevOps

Location: Remote (Must be residing in and authorized to work in the U.S.)

Duration: 6+ months

Contract: W2/C2C

Rate: $65/hr - $70/hr (Negotiable based on experience and engagement type)

Key Requirements:

12+ years of total experience
4+ years as a SRE with strong Python coding

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and resilient infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Develop automation scripts and tooling in Python to streamline CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure provisioning (IaC), monitoring, and operational tasks.
Implement Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices such as SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets to ensure reliability and performance of production systems.
Build observability solutions (logging, metrics, tracing) using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, and integrate custom monitoring with Python scripts.
Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve deployment strategies, release reliability, and incident management processes.
Automate cloud resource management with Python, Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC frameworks.
Optimize system performance through Python-based data analysis of logs, metrics, and capacity planning.
Implement robust security and compliance automation (vulnerability scanning, secrets management, access controls) using Python frameworks and APIs.
Respond to incidents and perform root cause analysis, leveraging Python scripts to accelerate troubleshooting and remediation.
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, mentoring developers on Python best practices for automation, testing, and DevOps workflows.
