Job Specifications

Location: Richmond, VA

Work Requirement: 3 days on-site

Type: Direct hire, full-time

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with strong experience in core Node.js concepts to build scalable, high-performance backend systems. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust APIs, services, and data flow integrations that power modern web applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js.
Experience with Go or a strong understanding of it
Proficiency with TypeScript or JavaScript
Experience with Moleculer, Express or Fastify.
Implement server-side logic, business rules, and third-party integrations.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
Work with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar.
Experience with CI/CD tooling, preferably Jenkins
Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, QA, and product teams.
Experience with AWS infrastructure and services
Build reusable components and libraries for future use.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
