Senior JavaScript Engineer contract (AI products) - Outside IR35 - PS575 per day

Leading Ecommerce client is now recruiting a talented 'Full Stack JavaScript Developer' who ideally has experience building an AI powered products i.e. a chatbot

This role will be joining their AI platform team, designing, and building the foundations of which our clients innovative web and mobile applications run on.

What will a day in the role entail?

Working as an integral part of an agile team contributing towards the planning and development of systems/platforms.
Collaborating with engineers, product owners and business analysts to define solutions, ways of working and share knowledge across the department.
Reviewing code and providing support to members of your team.
Working on client-facing applications
Designing and building Node.js / Typescript APIs.

The ideal Senior JavaScript Engineer

Senior level experience in modern JavaScript, written with ECMAScript, Typescript, Node.js,
Experience designing and developing APIs/microservices.
Understanding of DevOps/modern infrastructure practices (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI, etc).
AWS managed services like SNS, SQS, lambda, with an emphasis on integration work
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
Experience integrating with 3rd party AI API's (OpenAI, Claude etc.)
Experience building an AI chatbot would be advantageous
Experience working in autonomous agile environments.
Experienced in front and back-end development (React.js/Node.js/GraphQL)

This excellent opportunity allows you to become part of an innovative award-winning ecommerce organisation who are leading in the travel sector.

The role consists of hybrid work with 1 day per week in our clients Central London office and the rest working remotely.

This is a 6 months contract with a daily rate of PS575 p/d Outside of IR35.
