Job Specifications

As a Business Analyst - Azure Platform, you will be instrumental in evaluating, documenting, and improving cloud-based solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, cybersecurity, and project management teams to ensure Azure implementations meet both business objectives and federal compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and optimize cloud-related business processes to improve operational efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance.
Partner with stakeholders, engineers, and project managers to gather, define, and document business and technical requirements for Azure-based initiatives.
Ensure Azure infrastructure aligns with federal compliance frameworks, including FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and DoD security standards.
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, and Retrospectives to ensure alignment between technical execution and business goals.
Act as a liaison between government clients, engineering teams, and leadership to facilitate clear, consistent communication and expectation management.
Utilize tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Power BI to monitor project progress, manage risks, and create actionable, data-driven reports.
Collaborate with Azure cloud architects and engineers to address business needs involving Azure DevOps, Virtual Machines, Storage Solutions, and Identity & Access Management.
Contribute to the development and deployment of automated solutions for cloud provisioning and access control.
Support training efforts and adoption strategies to promote best practices in Azure usage across end-users and stakeholders.
