Job Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer Intern to join our ONUMgnt software team, focusing on a microservice, namely ONU-Management, responsible for managing Optical Network Units (ONUs) in Passive Optical Networks (PON). The role involves developing and testing new software features which identify and resolve the interoperability issues arising when ONU-Management is managing ONUs from vendors other than Nokia.

Please be informed that this is a non-remunerated internship, but you will learn from leading engineers in the Network industry which is a reward on its own!

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

Developing scripts and OnuMgmt REST APIs, which help in handling Interoperability issues with 3rd party ONUs.

During the internship you will experience working with real-world network management challenges, and cutting-edge technologies such as PON, Kubernetes, microservices, and Robot Framework.

Key Skills And Experience

Strong programming skills (e.g., Python or Golang)
Bachelor's degree
Fluency in English, spoken and written
