Overall Job Summary

Tractor Supply Company is currently hiring for our 2026 Accounting/Finance Summer Internship Program at our Store Support Center located in Brentwood, TN!

The SSC Accounting/Finance Internship is designed for students interested in pursuing careers in accounting or corporate finance by providing hands-on experience supporting our teams across a variety of initiatives. Over the course of 11 weeks, interns will work on impactful projects such as account reconciliations, journal entry preparation, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, and the development of financial reports and models. This internship offers the opportunity to build valuable technical skills, deepen your understanding of corporate accounting and finance operations, and experience our organization's culture while making meaningful contributions that support the financial accuracy and success of the nation's largest rural lifestyle retailer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

This listing provides all our Accounting and Finance Internship openings:

General Accounting Intern

Assist in monthly preparation and analysis of financial statements.
Support the finance team with reconciliations, journal entries, and other accounting processes.

Indirect Procurement Intern

Work with financial data related to procurement spend to ensure accuracy and support reporting.
Assist in evaluating vendor contracts and analyzing cost savings opportunities.

Internal Audit Intern

Collaborate with the finance team to provide support during audits and financial reviews.
Assist in identifying and assessing financial risks, recommending strategies for mitigation.

Finance Intern

Assist in financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders

Required Qualifications

Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and financial modeling systems
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Enthusiasm for corporate finance and financial analysis
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to relocate to the Greater Nashville Area for the duration of the internship

Preferred Knowledge, Skills Or Abilities

Customer-orientation and desire to support a retail organization
