WHY WE NEED YOU ?
Our growth is driving us to strengthen our Database team to accelerate the development of our Database Manages Services offering.
Your mission will be to design, build, and operate database services and internal infrastructures in order to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure database solutions to our customers and internal teams.
YOUR FUTURE TEAM

You will join the Database team (8 persons), responsible for orchestrating customer databases across Scaleway's infrastructure and maintaining critical databases used internally. The team fosters a strong engineering culture, regularly sharing knowledge and best practices.

YOUR DAILY ROUTINE
Tasks
Design, develop, and maintain Scaleway's Database-as-a-Service offerings
Operate and improve internal database infrastructures for Scaleway teams
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows
Contribute to system monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization
Collaborate within the engineering community to share best practices and solutions
About You
HARDSKILLS :
Proficiency in Go or Python
Experience with system programming and scripting (bash, Python)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling
Solid understanding of Linux system administration
Familiarity with Kubernetes
Experience in database administration (troubleshooting, clustering, high availability)
Experience with Kubernetes at scale
Knowledge of gRPC APIs
Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, and other monitoring tools
SOFTSKILLS :
Strong team spirit, eager to share knowledge and opinions
Comfortable in a collaborative environment with regular team rituals
Fluent in written English
