Security Systems Analyst

Location: Coventry (3 days per week in-office)

Reporting to: Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

We are seeking a Security Systems Analyst to join the team at an exciting time of growth and transformation. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to work directly with the CISO, supporting both daily security operations and longer-term initiatives to strengthen the organization's security posture.

You will take ownership of Microsoft security platforms, cloud environments, and infrastructure, ensuring resilience, compliance, and rapid response to threats. The position is well-suited to someone with a strong technical background who is looking to further develop their career in cyber security.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and secure Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
Enforce compliance policies through Intune (MDM/MAM).
Monitor and respond to alerts via Microsoft Defender tools.
Support incident detection and response in Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM).
Contribute to vulnerability management, patching, and system hardening.
Help deliver Zero Trust principles across identity, devices, and applications.

Skills & Experience:

Strong technical skills with Azure, Microsoft 365, and security tools.
Knowledge of infrastructure, identity, and application security.
Hands-on experience in endpoint protection, monitoring, or incident response.
Proactive approach and ambition to grow within security.
