Title: Application & Cloud Security Engineer

Location: Houston, Texas (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote; No fully remote)

Preference: Local candidates to Houston, TX preferred

We are seeking an Application & Cloud Security Engineer with 2+ years of hands-on experience in application and/or cloud security. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AppSec tools like Checkmarx, Invicti, and SonarQube, and CloudSec tools such as Prisma Cloud and Wiz. A strong understanding of secure coding, OWASP Top 10, and cloud security best practices (Azure CAF, GCP Security Foundations) is essential.

The role involves securing applications and cloud infrastructure through tool integrations, vulnerability triage, remediation support, and automation. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps workflows, and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) is required.
