SAP Technical Specialist (SC Cleared / SC Clearance Eligible)

Location:

Central London (Hybrid - Remote with occasional onsite visits)

Contract Duration:

6 months (with potential extension)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Technical Specialist to manage, maintain, and support our critical SAP systems, including applications for banknote processing and secure gold bullion storage. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SAP BASIS, Oracle, and Linux O/S, and be capable of leading major technical change projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support SAP ECC platform maintenance, including upgrades and migrations.
Provide 24x6 technical support for business-critical applications.
Define and implement system designs and architectures for SAP platform technology.
Ensure high-quality outputs in line with software development and assurance standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Expert knowledge of SAP Oracle-based platforms.
Hands-on experience with SAP BASIS, Oracle, and Linux O/S.
Proven track record in SAP platform change projects (installation, upgrades, migrations).
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills:

TOGAF Foundation or formal solution architecture experience.
Experience with Oracle RAC and Database clustering.
Advanced skills in RHEL for SAP Solutions.

Working Hours:

Core hours: 09:30 - 16:30.
Occasional out-of-hours support for high-severity incidents.
Weekend support (up to 8 hours, up to two weekends per month).

Security Clearance:
