I am hiring for Lead Data Engineer

Location: Glasgow (Hybrid) - weekly 2-3 days in office

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Data Engineer to join our team and drive the design and delivery of scalable data platforms. In this role, you will lead a team of engineers, define technical standards, and build reliable data pipelines to support advanced analytics and business transformation.

Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, ensuring high-quality code and best practices.
Design, build, and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes.
Manage distributed databases and develop scalable data transformation processes.
Collaborate with data scientists to build and deploy machine learning models.
Ensure robust security, governance, and compliance across data systems.
Report to senior stakeholders and contribute to strategic technology decisions.
