My Client in America is looking for an English-speaking SAP FI CO Consultant with Lease Accounting Experience with expertise in S/4 Hana Public Cloud.

THIS IS REMOTE, WORKING TO AN EST TIME ZONE (American East Coast) FOR 4 WEEKS + EXTENSIONS AFTER THE ASSESSMENT PHASE

Details of project

We are currently looking for an experienced Lease Accounting Implementation Specialist with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud to support one of our ongoing finance transformation initiatives. The consultant should have a proven background in lease accounting (IFRS 16/ASC 842) and hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting the SAP Contract & Lease Management (CLM) solution in Public Cloud.

Key Responsibilities include:
Configuring and optimizing lease accounting in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud (scope item 2TX).
Ensuring integration with FI-GL, FI-AA, and reporting tools (Fiori, SAC).
Supporting compliance with IFRS 16/ASC 842, including ROU asset and lease liability postings.
Conducting workshops, identifying gaps, and recommending remediation strategies.
Developing and executing test cases, supporting UAT, and preparing documentation/training material.
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of SAP FI/CO experience, with at least 2 end-to-end projects in lease accounting.
Strong hands-on experience with SAP CLM/RE-FX, particularly in Public Cloud.
Solid understanding of IFRS 16/ASC 842 lease accounting standards.
Familiarity with SAP scope item and Fiori apps for lease contract management.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
