About the Role
AWS Solutions Architect with deep expertise in AWS cloud solution design, Generative AI (GenAI), and Machine Learning (ML) to drive technical strategy and enterprise architecture. This role is ideal for a highly technical leader who can design and implement secure, scalable, and AI-driven cloud solutions that enable digital transformation and modernization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Define and communicate AWS solution architecture strategies aligned with enterprise goals.
Lead modernization efforts using cloud-native, serverless, and AI/ML-enabled solutions.
Drive enterprise adoption of Generative AI and advanced analytics.
AWS Solution Design
Architect and deploy scalable, resilient, and secure AWS solutions (Lambda, EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, API Gateway, CloudFront, IAM, KMS, WAF).
Optimize infrastructure for performance, cost, and reliability.
Design integrations between on-premises systems and AWS cloud services.
Implement microservices and serverless architectures using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
GitHub & CI/CD Automation
Manage GitHub repository structure and enforce best practices for version control and collaboration.
Build CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, automating testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Maintain secure branching strategies and code quality controls.
Data Architecture & AI/ML
Design data lakes, ETL pipelines, and real-time data processing frameworks (Glue, Redshift, Kinesis, Athena).
Operationalize AI/ML models on AWS using SageMaker and other native services.
Integrate Generative AI (LLMs, NLP, computer vision) into enterprise solutions.
Application & Automation Design
Oversee architecture for Java, Java EE, Spring Boot, and Angular applications integrated with AWS.
Produce clear architectural blueprints and solution diagrams.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
15+ years in technology architecture; 7+ years designing AWS-based solutions.
Expertise in:
AWS services: Lambda, EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Glue, Kinesis, API Gateway, CloudFront, IAM, KMS.
DevOps: CloudFormation, Terraform, CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
Programming: Java, Java EE, Spring Boot, Angular.
AI/ML: TensorFlow, PyTorch, SageMaker, Generative AI applications.
Data architecture: ETL, data lakes, real-time processing.
Preferred certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional), AWS Machine Learning Specialty.
Domain experience in insurance, financial services, or other data-intensive industries a plus.
