Role: Platform Engineer Lead (React, Node.js)

Atlanta, GA (Onsite)

Are you passionate about building scalable platforms and leading engineering initiatives that directly impact product development? We're looking for a Platform Engineer Lead to join our onsite team in Atlanta, GA. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in collaborative environments, enjoys solving complex problems, and has hands-on expertise in modern cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable, efficient, and reliable platform infrastructure and tools.
Partner with onsite development teams to build in-house platform solutions.
Collaborate closely with SRE, DevOps, and development teams to integrate tools and platforms seamlessly.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and security policies.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges across infrastructure and applications.
Participate in on-call rotations for critical platform issues.
Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for platforms, tools, and processes.

Technical Skills

Languages & Frameworks: React, Node.js, Backstage
Containerization: Docker
Orchestration: Kubernetes
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Terraform Cloud
Cloud Platforms: GCP (preferred), OCI, Azure
Monitoring & Security: SentinelOne, Splunk, Dynatrace

Preferred Qualifications

Strong proficiency in TypeScript, OR experience with Java/C# plus at least one other language (Python, Go, PHP, JavaScript, etc.).
Hands-on cloud deployment and development experience (AWS/GCP/Azure/Oracle).
Proven track record in end-to-end software development -- from developer workstation to production.
Experience/exposure in backend system design and architecture.
