Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled AEM Developer to join our digital experience team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and deploying web solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and related Adobe Experience Cloud technologies. This role involves building scalable, secure, and user-friendly content management solutions while collaborating closely with business, UX, and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain AEM components, templates, workflows, and services.
Build responsive, scalable, and reusable AEM components using HTL/Sightly, Sling Models, OSGi services, and JCR repository.
Integrate AEM with third-party systems (REST, SOAP, GraphQL APIs).
Collaborate with UX/UI designers and front-end developers to implement designs in AEM.
Configure and manage AEM Dispatcher, replication agents, and workflows for content delivery and caching.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in AEM author/publish instances and Dispatcher setups.
Participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and maintain high-quality code standards.
Optimize AEM performance (replication, cache invalidation, page load times).
Work with DevOps teams to deploy AEM packages and support CI/CD pipelines.
Stay up to date with Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem updates and recommend improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
3-7 years of hands-on experience in developing applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.4+).
Strong expertise in AEM development tools: HTL/Sightly, Sling Models, OSGi, JCR, and CRXDE.
Experience in building AEM components, templates, dialogs, workflows, and servlets.
Proficiency in Java/J2EE, RESTful web services, JSON, and XML.
Familiarity with front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), React/Angular (preferred).
Hands-on experience with AEM Dispatcher configuration and caching strategies.
Understanding of AEM Security (ACLs, permissions) and content governance.
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven) and deployment automation.
Good understanding of cloud-hosted AEM (AEMaaCS) environments.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance tuning skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Adobe Certified Expert - AEM Sites Developer (ACE) or Architect.
Experience with Adobe Target, Analytics, Assets, or Forms.
Knowledge of headless AEM development and SPA editor integrations.
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
