Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Writer located in Winnipeg, MB. The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for our technology solutions. Daily tasks include writing, editing, and maintaining technical documents, user manuals, and compliance reports. The candidate will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and articulate complex information, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards. The ability to translate technical concepts into clear and understandable content is crucial.

Qualifications

Technical Writing and Documentation skills
Experience in IT Governance, Compliance, and Risk Assessment
Strong Research and Analytical skills
Editing and Proofreading proficiency
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, HITECH, HITRUST, NIST, PCI, ISMS, and FFIEC
Ability to work on-site in Winnipeg, MB
Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Information Technology, or related field
Experience in the cybersecurity or technology industry is a plus
