TEACHER OF MATHEMATICS - FULL OR PART TIME

(Maternity Leave)

Required from January 2026, an enthusiastic, well-qualified TEACHER OF MATHEMATICS to join a strong department in a vibrant and supportive school. The provision of Maths is our school is excellent with teachers supported by shared Mastery Schemes of Learning. Maths is a very popular A Level choice with 3 or 4 groups in both Years 12 and 13, including Further Maths groups. At Key Stage 4 students have the opportunity to study Statistics and Further Maths as part of our enrichment programme.

An excellent induction programme exists for new staff and opportunity for career development is a strength of the school. Gillingham is an ambitious and happy school which offers excellent resources, outstanding facilities and a special ethos both amongst pupils and staff.
