The Role

We're looking for a motivated and talented individual to join the newly formed Strategic Delivery and Partnerships Team as a Junior Business Analyst. Reporting into the Corporate Development lead, this role is perfect for a recent graduate passionate about data analysis, automation, and process optimisation. You'll support the team by transforming raw data into actionable insights, building tools to streamline workflows, and contributing to high-impact strategic projects. This role is a springboard for growth: beyond data analysis, you'll build holistic business acumen by collaborating with the Corporate Development Lead on key topics from market expansion to commercial relationships and shape decisions that directly impact our growth trajectory. It's an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and dedicated individual who wishes to jumpstart their career in financial markets whilst working in a fast paced and rewarding environment.

Role Specifications

Data Analysis, Visualisation and Presentation
Leverage advanced data literacy to analyse complex datasets, design insightful visualisations, and present findings in a clear, compelling manner that highlights key trends and drives data-informed decisions for stakeholders.
Analyse datasets using SQL/Python to identify trends and opportunities.
Design and maintain interactive PowerBI dashboards for real-time decision-making.

Exchange and Trading Data Management

Clean, validate, and organise exchange-related data to ensure accuracy.
Support ad-hoc requests from trading desks

Process Automation

Develop Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks (e.g., data collection, reporting).
Integrate tools like Jira, Confluence and PowerBI to enhance team productivity.

Team and Business Support

Collaborate with team members to track initiative progress and resolve blockers.
Support other areas of the business in ad-hoc data analysis needs
Document processes and workflows in Confluence for transparency.

Must-have

Candidate Specifications:

Strong Excel skills;
Strong Python skills;
Data literacy;
PowerBI (DAX/data modelling, row-level security);
Proficiency in SQL for database queries;
Top tier interpersonal communication skills;
Ability to foster strong working relationships;
Ability to simplify technical concepts;
Ability to present information clearly and concisely;
Enthusiasm to rapidly learn new technologies and skills;
Efficient and diligent with a strong attention to detail;

Nice-to-have

Familiarity with Jira/Confluence;
