Information Security Engineer

We are hiring a Security Engineer to join a high-impact strike team, a group of hands-on experts who think like architects and deploy transformative technologies. You will help identify innovative solutions, develop and validate reusable security patterns, and empower teams through self-service capabilities that create a multiplier effect across the organization.

In this role you will:

Help advance the security patterns library
Lead the effort to design and consolidate intake forms in ServiceNow
Play a key role in shaping how Agentic AI and other emerging tools are adopted securely and responsibly

This is initially a 3-month contract (with extensions available), working onsite in Miramar, Florida four days per week, alongside a collaborative, forward-thinking team. (Remote on Fridays) If you are passionate about building frameworks that enable agility while strengthening security, this role offers the chance to make an immediate impact.

Responsibilities

Act as a hands-on security expert, driving transformation across new and legacy infrastructure
Design, develop, and consolidate intake forms in ServiceNow to streamline requests
Support the adoption of AI tools for developers and other emerging technologies
Rapidly deploy new security platforms and transition them to operations
Embed with project teams to assess complex architectures and apply sustainable security controls
Develop, validate, and extend reusable security patterns that enable self-service and consistency
Anticipate business needs by generating proactive security strategies
Communicate effectively across technical and business audiences to drive outcomes, including effective follow-up

Qualifications

8+ years of IT experience, including 4+ years in Information Security
Expert in security engineering and architecture, DevSecOps, data security, and network security
Hands-on ServiceNow Development (intake forms, workfows, automation)
Understanding of Agentic AI and other AI-driven developer tools
Deep knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, and cloud security
Expertise in serverless security, Zero Trust design, and API security
Knowledge of NIST 800-53
Strong consultative skills with an entrepreneurial, solution-oriented approach
