About The Role

Join Mintago as a Backend Developer to build high-performance NodeJS services, collaborate with teams, and influence technology in a fast-paced, secure environment.

Mintago is looking for a talented Senior Backend Developer to join our growing team. As part of our innovative company, you will have the opportunity to work on building high-performance NodeJS services utilising cutting-edge technologies and frameworks, all underpinned with TypeScript. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our frontend developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable solutions. If you are passionate about backend development and eager to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your contributions will make a significant impact, we would love to hear from you.

You will join Mintago as our 3rd Senior Backend Developer. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of technology within our company, working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. This role provides you with the chance to significantly influence the direction of the technology stack in a well-funded startup.

We are committed to delivering robust and reliable software solutions, prioritising secure development practices at every stage of our software development lifecycle. We are looking for a talented developer who understands the importance of incorporating security measures into their code from the outset. Additionally, you will work closely with our security team to stay updated on emerging threats and implement appropriate security controls to safeguard our systems and data. Your contributions will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our software applications, providing our customers with a secure and seamless user experience.

What You'll Be Doing

Develop our backend services: You'll be responsible for delivering high-performant APIs which are key to delivering our product vision.
Leading technical discussions: You will be instrumental to Mintago's technical decisions, influencing technology selection, architectural changes and pushing the boundaries of engineering.
Collaborating cross-functionally: You will work closely with the product and engineering team to create features that delight our users.

Skills We'd Like You To Have

Expert JavaScript engineer with a strong understanding of TypeScript.
Professional experience building REST APIs using NodeJS.
Production experience working with AWS and Kubernetes.
You consider unit testing a key part of software delivery.
A drive to collaborate with the team and share your opinions to push our technology forwards.
