Role: Software Development Engineer - Senior

Location: 2100 Logic Dr San Jose CA 95124 United States

Duration: Long-term contract

Key Must-Have Skills

Low-level C & Assembly Programming - Strong hands-on experience writing and debugging firmware/driver code.
x86/ARM Boot Flow - Knowledge of UEFI, PXE, JTAG and the overall boot/bring-up sequence.
System-Level Debugging - Ability to isolate and resolve complex hardware/software integration issues.

Nice-to-Have Skills

ARM v8 architecture expertise.
Deep system-level debugging experience (beyond the basics).
Familiarity with AXI protocol.

Job Duties

Enhance and maintain validation tool drivers and test infrastructure.
Debug system regressions and work cross-functionally to identify root causes.
Validate system-level features/blocks for next-generation hardware.

Required Background

Education: BS or higher in Computer or Electrical Engineering (software engineering focus).
Programming: Low-level C and Python; assembly for device drivers/embedded systems.
Experience:
>=1 year software engineering (internships count).
Device driver or hardware/embedded/OS kernel programming.
Delivering production-quality software on schedule.
Understanding of complex software architectures and validation principles.
Knowledge of CPU/ARM architecture.

Interview Process

2 rounds, 1 hour each, via MS Teams.
