Job Specifications
We are looking for a Cloud/DevOps Engineer who is a key role in our organization, responsible for deploying, automating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the systems that keep the backend infrastructure running smoothly. The role requires a strong focus on operational excellence, a deep understanding of coding and scripting, and a passion for system architecture and design.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure system reliability, efficiency, and performance.
Manage and monitor system infrastructure to ensure high availability and scalability.
Implement and manage tools for configuration management, system
monitoring, and log management.
Work closely with the development team to identify and fix issues in
production.
Work with Engineering teams to adhere to audit concerns to ensure
compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
Required Qualifications
7+ years' experience of implementing Cloud & DevOps solutions using agile methodologies.
Proficient in two or more programming languages such as Python, Bash shell scripting, and SQL.
Multiple years of experience with software engineering best practices (unit testing, automation, design patterns, peer review, etc.)
Strong proficiency in working with automation/configuration management using either Ansible, Terraform or an equivalent.
Clear understanding of Data Structures and Object-Oriented Principles.
Multiple years of experience supporting horizontally scalable, highly available, highly resilient, and low latency applications
Multiple years of experience with Cloud-native development and Container
Orchestration tools (Serverless, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.).
Proven experience of providing technical vision and guidance to a data team.
Thrives in a dynamic environment, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of work.
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in cloud native technologies and patterns (AWS, Google Cloud)
Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (i.e., Terraform, Cloudformation,
etc.)
Experience of driving and/or influencing the data strategy of your team or organization
Certifications:
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$125,600.00 - $188,400.00
