DevOps Architects / Practice Lead

Location: Herndon, VA (Hybrid 3 days a week)

Duration: Full Time

Job Description:

* Lead and scale the DevOps practice delivery center

* Define and implement delivery frameworks, KPIs, and governance models

* Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of DevOps solutions to enterprise clients

* Architect and oversee CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins

* Design infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and AWS

* Evaluate and implement DevOps best practices, tools, and automation strategies

* Manage and mentor a large team of DevOps engineers, architects, and consultants

* Develop career paths, training plans, and performance metrics

* Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement

* Serve as the primary point of contact for DevOps solutions & problem statements

* Translate business needs into technical solutions and delivery plans

* Build long-term relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and retention

* Overall 18 years' experience in DevOps, with 10+ years in leadership or practice management roles

* Hands-on expertise with GitLab, Jenkins, Terraform, and AWS

* Proven experience managing delivery centers and large cross-functional teams

* Strong understanding of cloud architecture, automation, and CI/CD pipelines

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
