Cybersecurity Solution Architect - AI

Remote - UK Based

Contract: Day Rate Negotiable.

A leading financial institution is seeking a Cybersecurity Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of secure AI architecture across enterprise platforms. This is a contract role for someone with deep expertise in cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure, underpinned by direct experience securing AI adoption at scale, and ideally based in the Midlands or Northern England.

As AI tools become embedded across business operations, including productivity platforms such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, this role will drive the secure integration of models, workflows and internal GenAI agents. You will ensure architecture aligns with regulatory expectations, enterprise policy and operational security standards.

Essential experience

* Proven experience in cybersecurity architecture within large financial services environments

* Hands on experience securing AI systems, GenAI platforms or enterprise AI tools

* Strong understanding of cloud and infrastructure security across AWS, Azure and hybrid models

* Expertise in observability, logging, vulnerability scanning, posture management and access control

* Familiarity with frameworks such as the EU AI Act or internal enterprise governance standards

* Confidence working across strategy and delivery, influencing architecture and compliance
