Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain modern, responsive full-stack web applications
Translate user flows and designs into robust, scalable code
Collaborate with product, design, and AI/ML teams to deliver seamless user experiences
Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and data pipelines
Integrate front-end interfaces with backend APIs and AI/ML model serving infrastructure
Ensure high performance, accessibility, and cross-browser/device compatibility
Contribute to shared component libraries and internal design systems
Define and improve development workflows, coding standards, and best practices
Monitor and improve system performance, observability, and reliability

Requirements

4+ years of experience as a full-stack or front-end/backend engineer
Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, FastAPI, Node.js)
Experience developing, testing, and deploying production-grade web applications
Proficiency in HTML/CSS (including SCSS) and responsive UI development
Experience with RESTful and/or GraphQL API design and integration
Familiarity with front-end testing tools, animation libraries, or data visualization frameworks
Experience working with modern CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and agile development
Experience deploying applications in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
Strong understanding of containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Nice to Have

Experience serving large language models or working with AI/ML model inference infrastructure
Familiarity with AI model serving frameworks such as Triton Inference Server, HuggingFace Transformers/Spaces, or Gradio
Prior work with GPU-accelerated tools (e.g., CUDA, cuDNN, Triton)
Experience developing tools or interfaces for scientific, medical, or biological data
Knowledge of bioinformatics tools or biological data modalities (e.g., genomic, proteomic, single-cell)
Contributions to open-source projects
Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
Understanding of FAIR data principles and reproducible research workflows
