About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer with 7+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications. This mid-senior level contract role requires proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and experience working in agile, cloud-based environments. You will collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineering teams to deliver secure, efficient, and user-friendly applications that support business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end components of web applications.
Build and integrate RESTful and Graph QL APIs to support data-driven solutions.
Implement responsive and user-friendly UI/UX designs using modern frameworks.
Manage and optimize databases (SQL and NoSQL) for high performance.
Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of deployed applications.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.
Perform code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to maintain code quality.
Document technical specifications, workflows, and development processes.
Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Stay updated on emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer or Developer.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
Strong back-end expertise in Node.js, Java, .NET, or Python.
Experience with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
Hands-on experience with API design and integration.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of security best practices in application development.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
Certifications in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP Developer/Architect).
Experience with microservices architecture and serverless technologies.
Exposure to test automation frameworks (Jest, Selenium, Cypress).
Familiarity with agile/scrum development methodologies.
Prior experience in finance, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
