Role Overview :

We are searching for a GCP Cloud Engineer with 2-4 years of experience who is passionate about cloud infrastructure, automation, and cost optimization. Inside the Core team, you will work closely with Analytics and Product teams to design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud solutions, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Python development, Prefect, Terraform, container deployment, and FinOps principles.

Your Mission :

Cloud Infrastructure : Design, deploy, and manage GCP-based cloud solutions using Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC), ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
Automation & Orchestration : Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows using Python and Prefect to streamline cloud operations.
Containerization : Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications using Google Cloud Run or Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and other GCP container services.
FinOps : Monitor cloud costs, identify optimization opportunities, and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining performance and reliability.
DevOps Practices : Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and best practices for cloud operations.
Security & Compliance : Ensure cloud environments adhere to security best practices and compliance standards, contributing to our ISO 27001 certification efforts.
Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve cloud infrastructure issues, working proactively to prevent downtime and improve system resilience.

What we're looking for :

2-4 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Terraform: Hands-on experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.
Python Development: Proficiency in writing clean, efficient Python code for automation, tooling, and integration.
Prefect: Experience with workflow orchestration using Prefect for scheduling, monitoring, and managing data pipelines.
Container Deployment: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), and container orchestration in GCP.
FinOps: Understanding of cloud cost management and optimization (FinOps) principles, with experience analyzing and reducing cloud spend.
DevOps Tools: Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Cloud Build) and monitoring tools (e.g., Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus).
Collaboration: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

You have solid experience with dbt (data build tool) and data pipeline orchestration, as well as a strong understanding of BigQuery and data engineering best practices.

You're comfortable working within the Google Workspace ecosystem, including organizational unit (OU) management.

Experience in a startup or scale-up environment is a real plus -- you thrive in dynamic contexts where adaptability and ownership make the difference.
