QA Engineer (Contract - 2 Months)

Location: Hybrid (London preferred)

Contract Length: 2 months (possible extension)

Start Date: Immediate

Day Rate: PS300-PS400 per day Outside IR35 (depending on experience)

About the Role

RMG Digital are working with a leading organisation in the travel industry who are looking to bring in an experienced QA Engineer to support their delivery teams during a busy release period.

You'll join an established QA function and help test new features and bug fixes across multiple products and platforms. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong manual testing experience who can confidently work across several workstreams at pace.

Responsibilities

Perform manual testing across web and mobile (iOS/Android) applications
Conduct functional, regression, exploratory, and UAT testing on new features and bug fixes
Reproduce, document, and track issues in Jira, collaborating with developers to resolve defects
Validate releases and deployments within CI/CD pipelines
Ensure consistent quality across multiple concurrent projects
Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and QA Leads to maintain high delivery standards
Provide feedback on risk areas, release readiness, and quality improvements

About You

You'll be an adaptable QA professional who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and enjoys working collaboratively across teams.

Essential Skills & Experience

Proven experience in manual testing of complex web and mobile applications
Strong knowledge of regression, functional, and exploratory testing practices
Experience using Jira, GitHub, and CI/CD tools such as Buildkite or Jenkins
Solid understanding of Agile workflows and sprint delivery
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have

Exposure to test automation tools (e.g. Ghost Inspector, Cypress, Selenium)
Experience within the travel or e-commerce sectors
Background in both startup and enterprise environments
