Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced SDET / QA Mobile Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile application testing, test automation, and quality assurance practices. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated and manual test strategies to ensure high-quality mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications (iOS and Android).
Perform functional, regression, performance, and UI/UX testing of mobile applications.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Implement and maintain mobile automation frameworks using tools such as Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest.
Conduct API testing and integrate with automation frameworks.
Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution using defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM).
Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Ensure adherence to QA best practices, testing standards, and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications:
6+ years of overall QA/SDET experience with at least 3+ years in mobile application testing (iOS and Android).
Strong experience with mobile automation tools such as Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or SOAPUI.
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools like Jenkins, Git, or Bitbucket.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred:
Banking/Financial services experience.
Cloud-based testing platforms (AWS Device Farm, BrowserStack).
Performance testing exposure (JMeter).
