James Adams is partnered with a leading player in the iGaming industry to find a Senior Technical Project Manager with strong experience delivering complex infrastructure projects in fast paced environments. This is a permanent role based in Central London, working hybrid remotely.

The Role
The business is looking for someone to lead infrastructure and cloud projects, working closely with DevOps teams and engineers to drive delivery at pace. You'll be central to planning and execution, ensuring projects are aligned with business goals while maintaining a strong focus on environment setup and scalability rather than integrations.
This is not a corporate environment, so they're particularly interested in candidates coming from smaller, fast moving businesses where agility and quick thinking are essential. They are also open to considering Engineering Managers with around 30% project management experience if they have strong infrastructure knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver infrastructure and cloud projects in collaboration with DevOps teams
Act as the key bridge between DevOps, engineering, and wider business teams
Develop clear project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring transparent communication with stakeholders
Assess technical tasks for resource allocation and accurate delivery timelines
Identify and address risks, dependencies, and blockers to keep projects moving at pace
Align delivery with overarching architectural and security strategies
Oversee environment setup and cloud-based solutions, ensuring best practices in scalability and security
Use project management tools to track progress and provide clear reporting
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation
Key Requirements
7+ years' experience in technical project management or similar roles for cloud and web infrastructure
Proven track record working directly with DevOps teams in complex infrastructure environments
Background in iGaming is preferred, but other industries with complex, high availability infrastructure will also be considered
Experience working in fast paced startup or scaleup environments (not large corporates)
Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern infrastructure practices
Knowledge of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana, and experience working in Agile/Scrum setups
Preferred but not essential
Experience managing global or multi-regional infrastructure projects
Background in iGaming infrastructure
Relevant project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master)
