Job Description:
Fortray Global is hiring an IT Analyst (L1) in France with B2-level proficiency in both French and English. Our client is a local French company, so the candidate must have work authorization in France or a stable visa valid for at least two years. It's B2B contract.
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. This role involves troubleshooting software and hardware issues, managing computer systems, and delivering exceptional customer service to end-users. The IT Analyst will work closely with various departments to maintain optimal performance of all IT-related services.
Duties
Log and manage all IT service requests and incidents through the ticketing system (calls, emails, chat, walk-ins).
Provide accurate troubleshooting and solutions for PC hardware/software issues, installations, and upgrades.
Ensure compliance with IT security policies; escalate and raise awareness for potential cybersecurity threats.
Collaborate with Global IT teams, vendors, and service providers for incident resolution and upgrades.
Maintain IT assets, conduct stock audits, and support IT equipment setup (meeting rooms, labs, special builds).
Deliver local support for networks, servers, printing, telecom, and security systems.
Support rollout of global applications and train local site users on IT systems.
Contribute to knowledge base documentation and identify recurring issues for root cause analysis.
Participate in IT projects aimed at improving service quality and operational efficiency.
Experience required: 3-6 years in IT Support / Site IT role.
Technical Skills:
Windows 10/11, Office 365 (Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, OneNote)
ServiceNow, VMware Horizon (VDI), Veeam, Palo Alto GlobalProtect (VPN)
Networking & Server Fundamentals, Windows Internals, SAP (ERP)
iOS/Android support, PDF tools (Adobe/Foxit)
Certifications: Microsoft, Networking, Security, VMware, SAP (preferred).
Note: N1 and H0B0 electrical certifications required for France.
