Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Junior Sales Associate to drive outbound sales and support business development efforts. This role is responsible for driving outbound sales efforts to generate new business opportunities across B2B consulting services and SaaS products. The Junior Sales Associate focuses on prospecting, cold calling, pitching solutions, and nurturing leads to support the sales pipeline. The role works closely with the VP, Consulting to ensure qualified opportunities are passed along and contribute directly to the company's revenue growth.

This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position, with the potential for full-time employment based on performance and business need.

Key Responsibilities

Prospecting & Lead Generation

Cold Calling & Outreach

Conduct high-volume cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach within target industries and customers.
Research and identify new potential clients through CRM tools, online databases, and networking platforms.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads.

Market Research

Gather insights on prospects, competitors, and industry trends to tailor outreach and pitches.

Pitching & Sales Engagement

Product & Service Sales Documentation

Assist the VP, Consulting with preparing sales decks, demos, and proposals for prospective clients.
Ensure all materials are accurate, client-focused, and aligned with current marketing initiatives.

Pitches & Messaging

Deliver clear and engaging pitches of B2B consulting services and SaaS products to prospective clients.
Communicate the company's value propositions while addressing client needs and pain points.
Answer initial questions and escalate technical or complex inquiries to the appropriate stakeholder, as needed.
Align outreach campaigns and messaging to current marketing initiatives.

Lead Engagement

Conduct timely follow-ups with prospects via calls and emails to maintain engagement.
Confirm next steps after pitches, demos, or meetings to keep prospects moving through the pipeline.
Re-engage dormant leads with tailored messaging to restart conversations.

Pipeline & Opportunity Management

CRM Management

Accurately log all activities, calls, and prospect information in the CRM platform.
Track follow-ups, meeting scheduling, and next steps to maintain pipeline visibility.

Qualification

Assess prospect needs and qualify leads for handoff to VP, Consulting.
Ensure opportunities meet criteria for advancement in the sales funnel

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles; internship or entry-level experience in B2B sales or SaaS is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable with high-volume cold calling and email outreach.
Ability to deliver clear, engaging pitches and articulate value propositions effectively.
Active listening skills to identify client needs and pain points.
Strong presentation skills and ability to assist in preparing sales decks, proposals, and demos.
Experience with CRM platforms and sales engagement tools.
Ability to conduct market research, gather competitive intelligence, and tailor outreach strategies.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks independently.
