QA Automation Engineer
Full-time | Long term | On site & Remote
As a QA Automation Engineer, you will join our team specializing in the development, implementation, and maintenance of security management software packages. It is an incubator for ADVANCED IOT SOLUTIONS such as: Smart Security Monitoring, Smart Buildings & Facility Services, Cloud Business & Smart House Technologies, Fleet Management, Traffic Management, Urban Surveillance.
You will define goals and create vision for our software projects, while maintaining constant interaction with the development team. The assignment is on a long term basis.
What will you do
Help build the QA Automation processes and methodology for a greenfield project
Coordinate the automation effort with the development team in order to attain QA coverage prior to go live
Analyse requirements, design documents and use cases in order update, modify test scripts to ensure functional requirements have been satisfied
Evaluate product code according to specifications
Create logs to document testing phases and defects
Report bugs and errors to development teams
Help troubleshoot issues
Plan and provide appropriate testing documentation
Provide testing estimates
Experience in Mobile and Web UI test automation
Experience with Web Services/API testing (REST)
Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools
Hands-on experience in using test and defects management tools (eg. JIRA; QA Touch)
Experience in using database languages (eg. SQL)
What will you need
Previous experience as an QA automation engineer of 2+ years
Previous experience working in agile methodologies
Very good understanding of SDLC
Experience using test case management tools like QATouch, TestRail, HPQC
Experience using issue tracking tools like Jira and TFS
Familiarity with corporate wiki platforms (e.g. Confluence)
Experience in automating web-based applications
Experience in testing services, microservices, web-services
Nice to have: previous experience with video security & surveillance systems
Ability to adhere to best practices in testing while continuing to improve the quality of testing practices and methodologies
Ability to meet deadlines, deliverables, accept and manage changing priorities and address issues quickly and professionally
We would also appreciate if
You have experience in performance testing using tools like LOCUST / JMeter
You are hands on using front end automation tools like Cypress, Selenium, Protractor
You have experience in using programming languages as Javascript / Typescript
Soft Skills
Proactive, identifies problems and proposes solutions, can fill their responsibilities autonomously

Ability to work as a team player and as a good colleague; sociable
Ability to structure and present their ideas and proposals clearly
