DevOps Engineer

Full-time | Long term | On site & Remote

As a DevOps Engineer, you will join our team specializing in the development, implementation, and maintenance of security management software packages. It is an incubator for ADVANCED IOT SOLUTIONS such as: Smart Security Monitoring, Smart Buildings & Facility Services, Cloud Business & Smart House Technologies, Fleet Management, Traffic Management, Urban Surveillance.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate DevOps Engineer to join our team of developers and product managers and ensure quality throughout the development cycle of our security monitoring products. The assignment is on a long term basis.

What will you do

Responsible for implementation of applications and services in the Cloud
Collaborate with product management to architect and design solutions and requirements
Deployment of microservices
Ensure solution and operations reliability

What will you need

Thorough understanding of cloud computing
Linux-based operating systems operation and configuration, shell-scripting
Version control and Continuous Integration servers
Configuration management
Deployment automation
Containers, Infrastructure orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Message queueing systems, caching systems, NoSQL databases, web servers - deploy & configuration
Monitoring and analytics
Networking protocols
Solid knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals, design patterns, and best practices

Soft Skills

Proactive, identifies problems and proposes solutions, can fill their responsibilities autonomously
Always in the process of professional and personal development
Ability to work as a team player and as a good colleague; sociable
Ability to structure and present their ideas and proposals clearly
Analytical, attentive to details, orderly in thinking
Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
