Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Developer - Databricks Engineer based in Brampton, ON. The Developer will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing data pipelines and workflows on the Databricks platform. Daily tasks include developing and maintaining data integration solutions, ensuring the high performance and reliability of data processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, and debugging as well as resolving data processing issues. They will also be involved in enhancing data optimization and managing scalability challenges.

Qualifications

Experience with Databricks and data engineering
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Spark for data processing
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Strong knowledge of data integration, ETL processes, and data modeling
Very Strong in SQL,Python or Pyspark
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus
