Job Title: Salesforce Tester
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Tester to join our team, with a strong focus on testing Salesforce solutions and ensuring overall platform quality and performance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience validating Salesforce configurations, integrations, and data, with a detail-oriented approach to quality assurance.
Experience with Salesforce Net Zero Cloud is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with a solid Salesforce QA background.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance (UAT) testing across multiple Salesforce clouds and modules.
Validate system functionality against business requirements and configuration specifications.
Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
Collaborate with technical teams, consultants, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and validate outcomes.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy of reports and dashboards within Salesforce environments.
(Optional) Work with automation frameworks to support regression and smoke testing efforts.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Salesforce testing (manual and/or automated).
Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, including objects, workflows, validation rules, and flows.
Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning and custom development (Apex, LWC) from a testing perspective.
Experience writing test cases, logging defects, and managing test cycles.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Experience with QA and automation tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Postman, or Selenium is a plus.
Experience with Salesforce Net Zero Cloud is highly preferred.
Location: VA, IL, TX, NY, PA, DE or Remote
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $90,000 - $130,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
