We're hiring a Security Manager to lead security operations across a large, complex healthcare site - where professionalism, operational precision, and high standards are essential.

Job Description

As Site Security Manager, you will lead and coordinate a dedicated on-site security team, overseeing operations across a healthcare site.

You'll play a key role in managing risks, driving performance, and fostering a strong security culture. This role is ideal for a confident, experienced security leader seeking challenge, visibility and career growth.

Key Responsibilities

Manage access control and CCTV systems across the full estate
Be responsible for rota management, pay queries and day-to-day team management
Lead on incident response and manage risks or threats as they arise
Deliver training sessions, including Toolbox Talks, and promote staff development
Maintain and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Champion a strong, site-wide security culture and ensure consistent best practices

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Demonstrable experience as a Security Manager or equivalent at a high footfall site - dealing with a large volume of visitors daily from the general public
Experience of dealing with difficult situations calmly
In-depth understanding of security systems including CCTV, access control, and alarms
Skilled in people management - leadership, coaching and incident handling
Confident with online rostering, scheduling, and staff resource planning
Excellent written skills for preparing reports and creating/updating SOPs
Must posses both a current SIA frontline licence holder (in Guarding or Door Supervision) & SIA Public Space Surveillance CCTV Licence
Proficient with Microsoft Office and experienced with sensitive/confidential data

Please note: ALL candidates must be able to pass BS 7858 screening standards & attain an Enhanced DBS disclosure
