Job Title: Solution Architect - Telecom

Location: Belfast, UK (Onsite)

Duration: 6 to 8 Weeks (Contract)

About the Role:

We are seeking a experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in the Telecom BSS domain to work closely with our stakeholders in Belfast. This is a short-term, high-impact engagement ideal for a self-driven professional who can independently lead architecture discussions, gather requirements, and deliver technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design of end-to-end Telco solutions across BSS, OSS, CRM, Order Management, Mediation, Billing, and Network Systems.
Define integration patterns and interface specifications (APIs, microservices, ESB, REST, SOAP, Kafka).
Translate complex customer requirements into scalable, modular, and interoperable architecture blueprints.
Develop High-Level Designs (HLDs), Solution Option Papers, and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
Evaluate legacy modernization opportunities, including migration from platforms like TIBCO BW, MuleSoft, or IBM Integration Bus to cloud-native/microservices-based architectures.

Required Skills & Experience:

10-15 years of experience in Solution Architecture within the Telecom domain.
Strong expertise in BSS systems and integration architecture.
Hands-on experience with integration platforms such as APIGEE, WSO2, or similar.
Exposure to Kong API Gateway is a plus.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality documentation.
