About the Role:

As a software engineer intern at SKHMSA you will be involved in Firmware validation activities including but not limited.

Test design and development for Industry standard specification and FW internal algorithms.
Review regression failures, triage and work with internal teams to close issues.

Responsibilities:

As a key eSSD development core team member, validate eSSD for customer qualification.
Create test plan for thorough testing of firmware using internal and external test tools.
Define firmware requirements for the white-box test development; working closely with firmware team members
Define and develop new test cases for firmware feature testing.
Oversee regression runs, including triaging of issue, and report failures to firmware or other stakeholders.

Minimum Requirement

Currently enrolled or Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science or engineering
Ability to do thorough analysis of test failures and skilled in problem recreation.
Good programmer with experience in scripting languages like JavaScript or python.
Fast learner with good communication skills.
Must be proactive and a strong team player.
Good knowledge of embedded systems.

Preferred Requirements

Experience in storage firmware test development (design/develop/validate) is preferred.
Solid understanding of PCIE-NVMe storage protocol/specifications is preferred.
