JSAN Consulting Group is Hiring : Confluent Consulting Engineer | Remote (France)

Are you passionate about Kafka, Confluent, and event-driven architecture?

Here’s your chance to work on cutting-edge data streaming projects — fully remote, with occasional travel once a quarter!

Role: Confluent Consulting Engineer

Location: France

Type: Contract

Mode: Remote (occasional quarterly travel)

Language: Native or fluent French required

Eligibility: French Citizens, EU Citizens, or candidates with valid French work permits

(No visa sponsorship provided)

What We’re Looking For:

5+ years of hands-on Apache Kafka experience (Confluent, Cloudera, AWS MSK, etc.)

Strong skills in Java, Python, or Scala

Solid understanding of event-driven architecture and data streaming patterns

Experience deploying Kafka on AWS, GCP, or Azure

Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines

Bonus Skills:

Experience with Confluent Kafka ecosystem — Kafka Connect, Streams, KSQL, Schema Registry

Exposure to Confluent Cloud, ksqlDB Cloud, or Apache Flink

Knowledge of Stream Governance, RBAC, and data lineage tools

Confluent certifications (Developer/Admin/Flink) are a plus

Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or data lakes/warehouses
