Permanent Futures is supporting a growing UK organisation bringing its IT development in-house for the first time. With ambitious growth plans and a commitment to AI-driven productivity, they’re looking for a Graduate IT Developer to help modernise systems and build new internal tools.

You’ll work on a broad mix of projects – from developing web applications and API integrations to exploring how AI and automation can improve day-to-day business operations.

What you’ll do

Develop and enhance web applications using Java, JavaScript, or Python
Build and integrate APIs and middleware solutions
Apply AI and LLM techniques to streamline workflows and boost productivity
Contribute to architecture discussions and best-practice development standards
Collaborate with stakeholders to turn business needs into practical technical solutions

What you’ll bring

A recognised qualification in Computer Science or a related field
Some hands-on web development experience (through projects, internships, or a placement year)
Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, and middleware
Curiosity about AI / machine learning / LLM technologies
Familiarity with modern cloud platforms and frameworks
A proactive, problem-solving mindset and enthusiasm for continuous learning
