Role Summary

You'll gain hands-on exposure to the intersection of technology and business development. You'll support research, outreach, client engagement, and solution shaping, while learning directly from technical and commercial teams.

The role is unpaid, but interns are eligible for commission payments (up to 15%) on successful client conversions from meetings they arrange.

This opportunity is ideal for someone curious about how technology sales works, with strong communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and an interest in emerging tech.

Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠ Research and identify potential customers, markets, and opportunities aligned with Quantasys's services.

•⁠ ⁠ Conduct outreach to prospects (emails, calls, LinkedIn, etc.) to generate interest in our offerings.

•⁠ ⁠ Speak to clients and prospects to understand technical needs, pitch solutions, and set up meetings.

•⁠ ⁠ Arrange client meetings and, where applicable, support follow-up communication.

•⁠ ⁠Collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate client needs into technical proposals.

•⁠ ⁠ Assist in preparing sales materials such as presentations, case studies, and documentation.

•⁠ ⁠ Analyze client feedback and competitor insights to suggest improvements.

•⁠ ⁠ Shadow technical and sales calls to learn real-world client engagement techniques.

Note: Participation is flexible and self-directed, there are no fixed hours.

This internship is for gaining experience, with optional commission opportunities.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

•⁠ ⁠ Studying (or recently graduated) in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related STEM field, or strong self-taught technical understanding.

•⁠ ⁠Clear and confident communicator, able to pitch products and explain technical ideas simply.

•⁠ ⁠ Innovative thinker: problem solver with awareness of recent technology trends.

•⁠ ⁠ Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage tasks independently.

•⁠ ⁠ Comfortable with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace; ideally some experience with presentations, spreadsheets, or documentation.

•⁠ ⁠ Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desired / Nice-to-Have:

•⁠ ⁠ Experience with CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot).

•⁠ ⁠ Exposure to proposal or technical writing.

•⁠ ⁠ Familiarity with SaaS, cloud, or other modern software solutions.

•⁠ ⁠ Previous customer-facing or outreach experience.

Commission Structure:

Interns will receive up to 15% commission if a client they introduced or scheduled a meeting with becomes an onboarded customer. Commission will be covered under a separate self-employed contractor agreement.

Interns are responsible for their own tax and National Insurance contributions.
