Job Summary

Summary of Responsibilities:

Drive innovation and identify new opportunities for Dataiku and advanced analytics adoption across the enterprise.
Develop long-term strategy and roadmap for data-driven transformation at Delta Dental.
Collaborate with data architecture, engineering, and analytics teams to implement machine learning (ML) use cases addressing business challenges.
Act as Advanced Analytics Product Owner: identify, prioritize, and track ML use cases; manage progress and risks.
Guide and mentor data scientists and development teams on ML best practices from ideation to deployment.
Build, validate, and deploy predictive models; communicate findings to stakeholders.
Lead process improvement initiatives for current data-related processes.
Promote advanced analytics governance, including ethical and legal considerations.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.
Must have experience with Dataiku (and preferably Azure ML).
Proven leadership in complex technical projects and cross-functional collaboration.
Strong project leadership, organizational, and communication skills (for both technical and non-technical audiences).
Expertise in mentoring/training team members and delivering business cases, proposals, and presentations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation abilities.

Preferred: Healthcare insurance industry experience.
