Job Specifications

We are a growing Law Firm, looking to bring on an experienced Data Privacy Cyber Security Attorney to join our team. Specifically, we are looking for someone with 4+ years of experience.

Requirements:

4+ years of Data Privacy, Cyber Security experience
Have your J.D. from an accredited law school
Deep knowledge of data privacy and cybersecurity laws
Experience with privacy management software, data mapping tools, and privacy certifications
Strong research and writing skills.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Be licensed and in good standing

Responsibilities:

Advise on and ensure compliance with various data privacy laws such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
Draft, review, and negotiate privacy policies, terms of use, data processing agreements, and other related contracts.
Manage the legal response to data breaches and security incidents, including investigations and regulatory notifications.
Evaluate privacy and security threats and conduct gap analyses to identify and mitigate risks.
Represent clients in litigation related to privacy violations and represent them before regulatory bodies

The annual salary for this position is between 200k-300k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
