This Internship & Placement Programme gives you the chance to gain real-world experience in cost consultancy and project management, supporting clients on high-profile construction, infrastructure and property projects across the UK and Europe.

You’ll work alongside expert Quantity Surveyors and consultants, learning how to manage budgets, analyse costs, and make data-driven decisions that keep projects on track and clients happy.

Programme length: 10–12 weeks (Summer Internship) or 12 months (Placement Year)
Start date: Summer 2026
Application deadline: 7 November 2025 (roles may close early)
Accepted degrees: BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying, Property, Real Estate or similar (RICS accredited)

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Quantity Surveying Intern or Placement Student, you’ll:

Help deliver cost, commercial and consultancy projects across multiple sectors.
Support with cost estimation, project planning, procurement and cost management.
Advise clients on budgeting, financial forecasting and contractual relationships.
Use data and digital tools to provide cost insights and improve project outcomes.
Collaborate with engineers, designers and consultants to deliver value-driven solutions.

This role offers a genuine hands-on learning experience — you’ll be part of live projects from start to finish, making tangible contributions and developing the confidence to succeed in a professional consultancy setting.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for people who are curious, analytical and eager to make an impact.

You should be:

Working towards a BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying, Property, Real Estate or a RICS-accredited discipline.
A strong communicator with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
A team player who can collaborate effectively across disciplines.
Creative, resilient and proactive in your approach to learning and challenge.
Willing to travel when required (hybrid working supported).
