Job Specifications

For one of our clients at the European Commission, we are currently looking for an UI/UX Designer & Front-End Developer.

Main Responsibilities

Design and develop website layouts, illustrations, visuals, and UI components, including infographics, data visualizations, and dashboards.
Ensure visual consistency and harmonization of styles across all websites and platforms.
Build, refactor, and test dynamic user interface components to ensure optimal performance.
Debug and verify cross-browser compatibility and compliance with accessibility standards.
Monitor user feedback and analytics to improve content quality and user experience.
Manage and maintain online collaborative tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.

Knowledge and Skills

Proven experience with design systems and UI development.
Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices.
Proficiency with UI design tools (e.g., Figma, Penpot).
Strong command of front-end languages and frameworks, including:
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React
Git (GitLab / Bitbucket)
Visual Studio / Visual Studio Code
Confident use of Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
Knowledge of Web Accessibility (WCAG) standards is an asset.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Good understanding of the digital environment and web technologies.
