Title: Senior Oracle APEX Developer

Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid – Onsite presence required)

Duration of the contract: 6+ Months

Pay Rate: Open (DOE)

Client Industry: Cruise Industry

Skills Required:

Oracle APEX (7+ years)
Oracle PL/SQL, SQL
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Financial systems integration
RESTful APIs and middleware
Performance tuning and secure coding
Excellent communication and team collaboration
Leadership/mentorship (preferred)
Comfortable working in a hybrid/onshore environment

Job Description

Staffworxs is seeking a Senior Oracle APEX Developer to support a key Finance Systems Middleware initiative for a leading organization in the Cruise Industry. This role will focus on the design, development, and support of Oracle APEX applications that are critical to financial system operations.

You will play a vital role in integrating systems, optimizing performance in Oracle Cloud, and collaborating with cross-functional teams across Finance, IT, and Business domains. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise and a strong understanding of enterprise middleware and cloud-based development.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications for enterprise financial systems
Build and optimize middleware components within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Collaborate with Finance and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions
Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of applications
Integrate APEX with RESTful APIs and financial platforms
Provide ongoing production support, debugging, and performance tuning
Mentor junior developers and lead technical initiatives when needed
